Mission Statement
The mission of NYC BOMBSQUAD BASKETBALL CLASSIC is to reclaim young boys and girls ranging in ages from 6 to 18 years old, by giving them structure and providing an alternative environment to being in the streets. Ultimately NYCBBC strives to show youth how to achieve higher goals in life on and off the court through accountability, physical fitness and academic achievement.
NYCBBC:
- Turns the basketball courts into a safe, clean and positive learning environment.
- Engages and serves the community by offering youth a competitive and playful environment matched with caring adults.
- Engages youth with responsible coaches who serve as role models and employ mentoring strategies aimed at teaching youth the fundamentals of playing the game of basketball in a fun, organized and well-disciplined environment.
