Our Volunteer Staff

linda

Ms. Linda R. Johnson’s love of basketball was what led her to the program in 1995 as one of the original volunteers. Her son Jamal, who was one of the first fifteen kids when the program was formed, played from the age of 11 until he graduated from high school. Ms. Johnson’s support as a parent over the years has always gone unspoken. She has not only been a supportive parent, but has volunteered her time over the years as a score and statistic keeper in all the divisions in the program.

Today, Ms. Johnson’s encouragement and commitment has helped in the growth of the NYCBBC and the league becoming an integral part of the Harlem Community.
